All of us at Wheelock College know how important a college education can be in enabling people to reach their potential, both personally and professionally. We are also aware that affording a high-quality education can be a challenge, which is why we are so committed to working with our students and their families throughout their engagement with us to help them obtain all the financial aid available to them.
These web pages contain valuable information that will help you understand your individualized financial aid package, policies for receiving and maintaining financial aid eligibility, and options for paying your balance.
Although we hope that families can make decisions about where a student will attend based on academic programs and other educational considerations, we understand that many want to compare awards from different institutions and we have developed a Net Price Calculator. Because schools vary greatly in cost of attendance and components of aid awards (grant, loan, work), please compare your options carefully.
The financial aid process begins with completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). As of May 10, 2015 you must have a verified FSA ID (Username & Password) instead of a PIN to log in to StudentLoans.gov and manage your FAFSA.
For assistance in setting up your FSA ID, call the U.S. Department of Education at 1-800-557-7394.
