Teaching has always been Janet Nicholson Cronin's passion. Her first experiences as a classroom teacher were in Boston Public Schools, where her fluency in Spanish led her to wonderful opportunities in bilingual education as well as regular education. After years of classroom experience, she was given the privilege to mentor Wheelock student teachers every semester as a supervising practitioner.
Several years ago when she left the classroom, her next steps were to truly focus on her strengths by becoming an instructor and program supervisor at Wheelock. She has also been able to continue working with elementary students as a part-time, dual-language reading interventionist at the Hurley School in Boston.
