Susan Kosoff is a theatre director, playwright, author, and professor emerita at Wheelock College, where she teaches for the Center for International Programs and Partnerships. Kosoff is a founder of the nationally acclaimed Wheelock Family Theatre, which is widely recognized for its ground-breaking work in nontraditional casting, arts access, and theatre education. She has an extensive background in educational and theatrical consulting and has worked with young people and adults in a variety of capacities for over fifty years. Hers plays have been performed on stages around the country. Her most recent publication is the two-volume set, The Young Actor's Book of Improvisation: Dramatic Situations from Shakespeare to Spielberg, co-written with Sandra Caruso. She serves on the boards of StageSource, Cape Cod Theatre Company, and Wheelock Family Theatre.
