Getting around in Boston
Boston is considered the Athens of America; it is one of the oldest and most vibrant cities in America. Boston is also known as a "walking city" because the city is easy to explore on foot and with public transportation. The locals call Boston's transit system "The T," which includes trains, commuter rail, buses, and ferries. Public transportation is the most convenient and affordable way to really absorb the feel of Boston as a picturesque place with a green summer and white winter.
Wheelock offers discounted T passes to help students explore Boston and surrounding regions. Learn more on our Getting Around web page.
