As I begin my role as Wheelock College's 14th President, I am pleased and honored to become part of this institution's unwavering 128-year mission to improve the lives of children and families.
At Wheelock, we see diversity, access, and inclusiveness as keys to success—both on our tight-knit campus and in communities and workplaces around the world. Our faculty, staff, and students strive every day to create a culture centered on social justice, academic excellence, and community engagement.
We help our students become leaders who are strong enough, compassionate enough, smart enough, and tough enough to change the world for the better. You'll find our students and our alumni in classrooms, nonprofits, social service agencies, lawmakers' offices, the juvenile justice system-in Boston, across the country, and around the world. The work our students do isn't easy. But it's worth it.
Since its founding in 1888, Wheelock has been a truly unique institution, full of people who are driven to make a difference in society. Visit our YouTube channel to meet some of our talented students and faculty, learn about some of our programs, explore life in Boston, learn some Wheelock history, and much more.
Better still, visit our beautiful Boston and Brookline campuses to get a real feeling for how Wheelock can help you inspire a world of good. I hope to see you soon.
