The Aspire Institute forges external relationships that advance knowledge, practice, and mission while addressing community priorities related to college and career access.

We believe that by creating a pipeline of early exposure, a strong college pathway can be laid to support the necessary awareness, inquiry and reflection needed to successfully prepare college-ready youth and families.

Early CollegeEarly College and Career Access Tours and Activities
4th Grade - 10th Grade

Students have the opportunity to tour Wheelock's campus with one of our Early College Access Associates (ECAA). Our ECAAs are Wheelock students who explain where students like to eat, sleep and study. After the tour, your students will participate in an activity tailored to their needs. Activities include: College Experience Panels, Financial Aid and Admissions Discussions, a Mock Class, One Hen Workshop on Social Entrepreneurism, and more!

Rising 8th and 9th Graders

Each day of this fun and innovative camp combines STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) classroom lab activities with an excursion to a Greater Boston-area STEM company, organization, or field site. Campers are exposed to college life and academics through campus tours and discussions with college students, faculty, and staff. STEM in the City allows campers to explore a variety of subjects in a relaxed, fun, and creative setting that allows them to develop and strengthen their interest in STEM fields while building bonds with their peers.
