Welcome to the Aspire Institute, which is part of the Office of Sponsored Programs. We're Wheelock's innovation hub—where ideas lead to impact. At Aspire, we believe cross-disciplinary, cross-sector collaboration can solve society's toughest problems.
Our mission is to advance knowledge and solutions in response to social and educational challenges. To fulfill this mission, we collaborate with Wheelock faculty, staff, and community partners to envision and develop effective policy and practice in the fields of education, child and human development, and health and wellness.
Three core values guide our work:
Connection to engage and strengthen communities
Innovation to explore and expand what is possible
Optimism to act with energy and hope for the future.
Our programs include:
- Connected Beginnings Training Institute
- Equity and Access in Education
- Developing Instructional Delivery Models
- The Teacher Support Program
Our initiatives are as creative and diverse as our partners. We encourage you to explore our current and past projects—and to be in touch with your ideas!
