Meet the Resident Assistants
Each living environment is headed by a professional Resident Director (RD) and staffed by student Resident Assistants (RAs), who represent the general philosophies and policies of the Student Life Office. RAs, along with the Residence Life staff, are committed to serving as a resource and guide for Wheelock students as they navigate the transitions and challenges they may face at college.
Kayla Pulsifer (Riverway) - Kayla is a Graduate Assistant for the Residence Life Department. She recently graduated Wheelock College in May of 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Developmental Psychology. During her undergraduate experience she was a Resident Assistant for three years. She is excited to still be a part of the Residence Life team and hopes to help make this year fun and enjoyable!
Zachary Kerr (Riverway Garden Level) - Zachary Kerr is the Resident Assistant of the Garden Level of Riverway house and this is his first year as an RA. He is from Methuen Massachusetts and is a sophomore majoring in Social work. Along with being a resident assistant, Zachary is involved with various clubs and organizations on the Wheelock campus. He is one of the vice presidents of the Wheelock College Gay Straight Alliance, a student on the Wheelock College Pride Committee, and one of the four Passion for Action Scholars from the class of 2017. Outside of Wheelock Zachary is very involved in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community where he advocates for the rights of transgender students in schools and he also enjoys spending time with his very big family. Zachary is looking forward to his first year being a resident assistant.
Brittany Wright (Riverway 1) - Brittany is a junior at Wheelock majoring in Elementary Education and Counseling Psychology. She has served on the e-board of Wheelock College's Black Student Union for the last three years and will be fulfilling the role of Vice President this year. She is from Randolph, Massachusetts and enjoys life in the city. In her free time, Brittany enjoys shopping, spending time with friends and family, reading, going to the gym, and dancing.
Jessica Hersom (Riverway 2) - Jessica is a senior at Wheelock and this is her second year as an RA. She is a Social Work and Juvenile Justice major. She is originally from Maine, but loves the city of Boston! She loves to work out in her free time to keep herself in shape. She also works in the Office of Student Life, and would love if you went to say, "Hi"! She can't wait to get to know her residents and enjoy her senior year!
Sara Taveras (Riverway 3) - Sara is a second year RA living on the third floor of Riverway. She is currently a senior double majoring in Social Work and Juvenile Justice. She is looking forward to this year and all the opportunities in the future. Shout out to the class of 2015!
Stephanie Kelly (Longwood 1) - Stephanie is a first year RA on the first floor of Longwood House. She is a sophomore at Wheelock and is planning to major in American studies with minors in Education and Juvenile Justice. Stephanie is originally from Atlanta, Georgia and is excited to live in the city of Boston! In her free time, she loves exploring Boston with friends and finding new restaurants. Stephanie is excited to get to know all of her new residents and is looking forward to seeing them succeed this year.
Hannah Moore (Longwood 2) - Hannah is a junior majoring in Social Work with a minor in Education, and this is her second year at Wheelock. Someday she would like to use these skills to work with military families. For now, she will stay busy at Wheelock as a Jumpstart Team Leader and a member of the Honors Program, in addition to her RA position. Western Massachusetts is her home, but Boston has been full of new adventures for her to enjoy! Hannah loves her time in this amazing city, and is excited to bring this newfound love to Longwood!
Mynor Rosa (Longwood 3) - Mynor Rosa is a first year Resident Assistant living on the third floor of Longwood. He is a junior majoring in Social Work. He was born and raised in Queens Bridge New York, but has lived in Miami for six years, prior to moving to Boston. He loves to travel and has been to 6 out of 7 continents. He is also a HUGE Game of Thrones fan. (Winter is Coming!)
Stephanie Hom (Pilgrim 2) - Stephanie is a first year Resident Assistant living on the second floor of Pilgrim. She is entering her junior year at Wheelock after transferring from Keene State last fall. She is majoring in Early Childhood Education and Developmental Psychology with a minor in Understanding Autism, and hopes to be a Special Education Teacher for children with severe disabilities. Along with being an RA, Stephanie is on the Cross Country team and is a member of Best Buddies and the Autism Awareness Club. Stephanie is originally from Lexington, MA and enjoys spending time with friends and family as well spending time at the beach in the summer or skiing in the winter. Stephanie is excited for the year to come!
Karen Donohoe (Pilgrim 3) - Karen is currently a senior at Wheelock. She is studying Humanities with a focus in history and Elementary Education. Karen is a second year Resident Assistant and is living on the third floor of Pilgrim. Karen grew up on the seacoast of New Hampshire. Karen's favorite hobbies are skiing, dancing, sailing, swimming and hiking. Karen is excited to jump into the new school year and get to know her new residents!
Erin Rice (Pilgrim 3) - Erin is currently a sophomore at Wheelock. She is double majoring in Social Work and Counseling Psychology with a minor in Juvenile Justice. This will be Erin's first year working in Residence Life as a Resident Assistant. Erin is originally from a small town called Windsor, Vermont where she lives on her family's farm, but Boston has quickly become her second home. Erin is an active member of the Women's Softball team. In her free time she likes to watch Netflix, hang out with friends, listen to music, eat Chipotle, and explore the city. Erin is very excited to be a part of the Residence Life Staff and to be a role model for the Wheelock Community.
Kyssandra Perkowski (Peabody 1)- Kyssandra is the Resident Assistant on the first floor in Peabody Hall and is looking forward to her first year as an RA! She is a junior double majoring in Elementary Education and Performing Arts, with a focus on dance. Kyssandra is also originally from Wallingford, Connecticut. In addition to being and RA, Kyssandra is an Admissions Ambassador, and a program assistant for Jumpstart. She also choreographs for the Colleges of Fenway Dance Project each semester. In her free time, Kyssandra can always be found talking to friends, doing arts and crafts, or dancing! She looks forward to the many adventures this year will bring and can't wait to get to know her residents!
Camila Sabando (Peabody 2) - Camila is currently a sophomore majoring in Counseling Psychology with a minor in Child Health. This is her first time being an RA and her second year living on the second floor of Peabody. Camila is originally from Miami, Florida. In Camila's spare time, she loves to dance, watch Netflix, sleep, and travel whenever possible. Camila is extremely excited for all of the new experiences she will have this year.
Louis Curto (Peabody 2) - Louis is a junior at Wheelock studying Special Education and Human Development with a focus in Counseling Psychology. This will be Louis's second year as an RA in Peabody Hall and lives on the second floor. In addition to working for Residence Life, he also works for the IT department and plays for the Men's Lacrosse team. While Louis is ready to graduate from Wheelock and begin his career, he is sad to leave the place he has called home for the past four years.
Abigail Gay (Peabody 3) - Abigail is a first-year Resident Assistant living on the third floor of Peabody. She is a sophomore majoring in Early Childhood Education and Counseling Psychology. When not in school, Abigail lives in Medway, Massachusetts with her mom, dad, two sisters, and a yellow Labrador named Reilly. In her spare time, she enjoys sewing, crafting, reading, and watching Castle. She also loves laughing and spending time with friends and family. Abigail is very excited to take on her new role as an RA!
Caitlin Kelleher (Peabody 3) - Caitlin Kelleher is a first year Resident Assistant and she lives on the third floor of Peabody. She is originally from Plymouth, Massachusetts and her birthday is November 11th. This is Caitlin's sophomore year at Wheelock and she is double majoring in Elementary Education and Developmental Psychology. She is the Vice President of the Wheelock College dance team, X-Clusive. In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with friends and exploring Boston. Caitlin is looking forward to a great academic year!
Sarah Horn (Peabody 4) - Sarah is a second-year Resident Assistant on the fourth floor of Peabody Hall. She can also be found in the Towne Art Gallery working as a Gallery Attendant. Sarah is a junior from Taunton, MA, majoring in Social Work with a minor in Child Health, as well as a proud member of the Wheelock Honors Program. She is looking forward to another year of exploring the city and growing with her residents as a member of the Wheelock community.
Erin Bruce (Peabody 4) - Erin is a sophomore, originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Last spring, she officially declared a double major in Elementary Education and Mathematics. In addition to her role as a Resident Assistant, Erin is also a Math leader and an active member of the Honors Program. In her free time, she likes to explore the city, listen to country music, and play UNO. Erin is very excited to get to know her fourth floor residents and is looking forward to a great year!

Bridget Buckley (CCSR 3 & 4) - Bridget is a junior majoring in Counseling Psychology with a double minor in Autism and Child Health. Bridget enjoys volunteering at Boston Children's Hospital and spending time with her family. Bridget is from Worcester, MA and enjoys cooking and watching her favorite TV show Orange is the New Black.
Tyler Pietras (CCSR 5) - Tyler is a senior majoring in Counseling Psychology and Humanities. In addition to his role as an RA, Tyler is the Editor in Chief of Catachresis, a writing consultant, and Vice President of the Honors program. Outside of his education, Tyler is a science fiction writer, video game connoisseur, and professional wrestling aficionado. Tyler is looking forward to a great year in CCSR!
Rachel "Ray" Meltzer (CCSR 6) - Ray is a second year RA living on the sixth floor of CCSR. She is a junior majoring in Political Science with a minor in Elementary Education with plans to attend law school after graduation. Ray is from Fryeburg, Maine and loves the outdoors. In her free time, Ray enjoys playing soccer and tennis, studying, skiing, and performing with the COF Jazz band.
