Individual Counseling: One of our primary goals is prevention, and in this endeavor we strive to assist students with their concerns before they may develop into more serious problems. The staff at the Counseling Center may be consulted for a wide variety of reasons. These include normative stresses such as relationship issues, sexuality and sexual orientation issues, adjustment to college, moving into more adult roles, etc., as well as issues such as grief and loss, depression and anxiety, body image and eating concerns, etc.
Workshops and Groups: Topics vary each year, but in the past have included loss and bereavement, as well as groups addressing loneliness, relationships, eating concerns and body image, and other issues. See posting for groups that are currently meeting.
Colleges of the Fenway Resources: The Colleges of the Fenway is a consortium comprised of of six institutions of higher education in the Fenway area, including Emmanuel College, MassArt, MCPHS, Simmons College, Wentworth Institute of Technology, and Wheelock College. These colleges work in collaboration in hopes of increasing value to the academic and social experiences of its students. To learn more click here.
