Check out the 2012 Fall Family Weekend schedule!  This schedule is tentative and subject to change.

We have an exciting weekend planned that will provide you with opportunities to visit with your Wheelock student, meet members of the faculty and staff, and enjoy special events in Boston and on-campus.

You will notice that most of the events are free.  We particularly want to highlight Breakfast at the President's House on Saturday morning, October 20.  All families are invited to enjoy not only a fine meal but also a candid conversation with our President and with an excellent panel of alumni students. 

We have also organized some activities in which tickets must be purchased in advance.  Because of their popularity each year, we continue to include options such as Shear Madness, Duck Tours, and a performance from our own Wheelock Family Theatre.  We are pleased to announce that we will once again offer a trip to the Museum of Fine Arts on Friday night, October 19, and a wonderful dinner package at Jasper White's Summer Shack on Saturday, October 20.  Tickets for these options are limited and non‑refundable.

Registration Information

Registration is open now! For those events in which tickets must be purchased in advance, we have set aside a limited amount of tickets for families and students. You can save some money by registering through our online registration system. To register, please go to our CashNet registration page and click on the Fall Family Weekend link on the right-hand column, then choose the events you would like to attend.

Parking and Accommodations

Parking

When visiting Wheelock on Friday (October 19), we recommend that you park in the Landmark Center garage at 401 Park Drive.  This is the cheapest option on a weekday.

When visiting Wheelock on Saturday ot Sunday (October 20 & 21), we recommend that you park in MASCO Garage at 375 Longwood Avenue.  This is the cheapest option on the weekend.

Accommodations

Boston and the surrounding suburbs offer a wide range of hotels, inns, motels, and bed & breakfasts where you can find lodging while you are visiting.  You should try to make your reservations as soon as possible.  For your convenience, blocks of rooms have been reserved at the Best Western, Inn at Longwood.
