Social Work Corps

In collaboration with the Wheelock Social Work Department, the Aspire Institute is excited to announce a new volunteer initiative, the Social Work Corps (SWC). Similar to Aspire's Educator Mentor Corps, SWC is a service program that mobilizes skilled, licensed social workers to prepare, inspire, and retain the next generation of social workers. SWC members also offer support to Greater Boston schools and Wheelock partner organizations, such as health and social service programs.

Aspire is now recruiting SWC members for service in Fall 2012. Ideal members are experienced/retired and licensed social workers who can serve 5-10 hours per week. If you or anyone you know might be interested, feel free to contact us with any questions or fill out  our application.
