  • The Resource Center will be closed May 19 - June 24, and the week of July 2-6.

    If anyone should have materials to return when the Resource Center is closed, they may return the items at the Library front desk.

Resource Center

Studio Space and Materials. The hands-on studio space offers materials to help in the development of curriculum activities, a lending library of five collections used in work with children, and computer workstations that model the use of integrated technology with children. Exhibits of teacher-made materials are on display throughout the Resource Center.

Workshops. During the fall and spring semester, the Resource Center hosts drop-in workshops on a variety of curriculum topics. These hands-on workshops are free of charge. Past topics include: Documentation Presentation, Asthma, Literacy for Emergent Readers, Digital Imaging, Science Kits, Making Math Games, Quilts, Rubber Stamps, Pendulums, Musical Instruments, and Papermaking.

Guidance. The Resource Center staff is available to help you locate materials and to use the Center's equipment. The Director is available to meet individually with students to discuss curriculum projects and course assignments.
