"Last summer I lived in Mindo, Ecuador with another Wheelock student, and taught English in the town’s public elementary school. This great experience taught me a lot about myself personally and academically, and I got four credits for it!”
Clubs/Organizations: I am an Admissions Ambassador which means I help out at Admissions events including Fall Open House and overnights.
Why did you choose Wheelock? I liked that Wheelock was small and everyone was friendly and looked out for each other. I was also really excited about all of the different programs offered.
Favorite thing about Wheelock: The professors. My favorite professor is Jama Lazerow who teaches various American History courses. Although he is challenging, I always learn a lot in his classes and have fun.
What do you do on weekends? I like to walk around Boston with friends, attend Red Sox games, and go to concerts.
What do you want to do when you graduate? Pursue my PhD in History.
