On Saturday, December 13th, 2008, more than 220 learners graduated from Wheelock College programs offered in collaboration with the Regional Training and Resource Centre in Early Childhood Care and Education for Asia (RTRC Asia) in Singapore. President Jackie Jenkins-Scott and Joan M. Bergstrom, Ed.D., Professor and Director of the Wheelock College Center for International Education, Leadership, and Innovation, were present at the ceremony to confer degrees and assist in celebrating the achievements of these dedicated learners.

Generation Excel Awards Grant to Wheelock

In recognition of Wheelock’s efforts to promote health and wellness on our campus and in our community, Generation Excel has awarded the College a $5,000 grant to support the President’s Fitness Challenge. Generation Excel is an organization dedicated to fighting obesity in children and adults by funding and promoting nutrition and physical fitness programs. The President’s Fitness Challenge will be sponsoring a schedule of fitness sessions as well as dorm room fitness kits.
Wildcats Capture School Spirit Award
