Neighborhood Dialogues on Race
A Missing Ingredient
The Handbook for a Neighborhood Conversation on Race: A Talk Worth Having aims to encourage a dialogue on race unity at the most basic level of society, our neighborhoods. The intent is to bring the discussion into living rooms, dens, and around kitchen tables. The handbook is also appropriate for discussions in religious and civic groups, and other forums where people gather seeking meaningful dialogue.
The current edition of the handbook was developed as a follow-up to the 1998 publication, "The Power of Race Unity-Handbook for Neighborhood Dialogues on Race Unity" published by the Regional Baha'i Council of the Northeastern States. Dissemination of Handbook for a Neighborhood Conversation on Race: A Talk Worth Having is a continuation of this community service project to help bridge the racial divide in America.
A pdf copy of the handbook for use in unlimited duplications can be forwarded to interested parties for a $45 administrative fee. The fee supports the work of the NCRA.
