Every year, the Senior Class leaves its legacy at Wheelock College. Large group donations are important, but the main goal of the Senior Class Gift is participation.

In 2011, the Senior Class far surpassed their goal of $211, raising a total of $1,307.74! This is an incredible accomplishment on its own. However, perhaps even more impressive was the Class of 2011's participation rate of 36 percent!

In order to transfer their passion for service learning to future generations and make sure that Wheelock students can carry on that passion for years to come, the Class of 2011 designated their gift to go towards the College's Global Service Learning Fund, which provides support for service learning activities.

Members of the Class of 2011 who contributed to the Senior Class Gift will receive special recognition in the 2010-2011 Annual Report of Giving in the Fall 2011 Wheelock College Alumni Magazine.
