Giving Programs

Donors may choose to support one of these important initiatives:

Annual Fund — Exclusively supports financial aid and scholarships for Wheelock students. 

Alumni Scholars Program — Alumni and friends are able to make a direct impact on an individual Wheelock student by committing to an annual gift of $5,000 for four years.  A Wheelock undergraduate or graduate student will receive a yearly $5,000 scholarship in the donor's name.  

Special Giving Programs — Occasionally, Wheelock asks alumni and friends to participate in one-time gift challenges or giving programs.  A recent example is the Kresge Challenge, in which Wheelock was charged with raising $2.1 million for facility improvements, in order to receive an $800,000 grant from the Kresge Foundation.  For more information, please call 617-879-2328.    

Giving Societies

Donors who generously support the College are recognized by their membership in the following societies:

Cornerstone Society — Recognizes alumni and friends who support Wheelock through cumulative annual gifts of $1,250 or more.

Heritage Society — Honors those alumni and friends who have included Wheelock in their estate plans through a bequest or other planned gift, such as a charitable gift annuity or a trust.
