The Heritage Society Extends an Invitation to You
What changes do you want to see in the world? What legacy do you want to leave? You can help perpetuate the mission and values that you share with Wheelock and serve future generations of children and families by making a planned gift or bequest to the College.
By making a planned gift, you will become a member of the Heritage Society, and you:
- Contribute to the College
- Can increase your annual income
- Can pass assets on to your family
- Can enjoy a charitable deduction
- Can diminish or avoid taxes on capital gains
The Heritage Society was initiated in 1981 by then President Gordon Marshall and celebrates those who have included Wheelock College in their estate or trust plans. We now have over 125 living Heritage Society members in 23 states.
Your estate plans can be an important commitment that furthers your philanthropic
goals. Planned gifts are often a way for a donor to make a much larger
gift than might have been possible from current income alone. It is simply
a contribution that requires some preparation before it is accomplished.
