Email Issues - How to Change Your Password!

Due to some changes to group policies for the installation of new printers systems on campus, our systems are now unexpectedly prompting users to change their passwords. We are sorry for this inconvenience.
Please follow the instructions below and contact the Helpdesk at 617-879-2309 if you need assistance.
Faculty and Staff
You will be prompted to change your password when you either log in to your workstation or open Webmail. Make sure to follow the password standards listed below.
Go to the Password Reset site and follow the prompts. If you are not able to change it there, call the Helpdesk. Make sure to follow the password standards listed below.
HOW TO CREATE A SECURE PASSWORD
When you change your password it will need to comply with our password standards which are:
1) 6 digits in length
2) Cannot be the same as any of your past 3 passwords
3) Must contain 3 of the 4 following character types:
a. Uppercase Letter
b. Lowercase Letter
d. Special Character (i.e. !,@,#)
4) Not contain the user's account name or parts of the user's full name
Once your password is changed, you will need to update any smartphones, tablets or home computers set to connect to Wheelock email with your new password. Basic instructions can be found here:
