The Annual Dialogue on Early Education and Care has sought to contribute
to the development of a comprehensive, high-quality, culturally relevant system
of early education and care for all children in Massachusetts.
In 2006 community
leaders met to establish the Dialogue and lay the foundation for community
participation in the state-wide system-building effort. In 2007 the Dialogue
focused on the importance of investing in our diverse workforce. This year’s
Dialogue will focus on continuing to increase awareness and forging unified
action across the state to ensure that the new realities and initiatives are
shaped by community voices.
