Renowned Artist Donates Three Sculptures

Brookline resident and nationally known artist David Bakalar donated three outdoor sculptures to the College this week. The works include Life Force IV, which will be located near the rear entrance to 43 Hawes St. in Brookline; The Dance, which will be located next to the Wheelock Family Theatre; and WE, which will be located adjacent to the Campus Center and Student Residence.

The sculptures will be installed during the coming weeks.

Bakalar's work is on view at many locations across the country, including on the campuses of Columbia University, Brandeis University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
