Kyoungho Koh Named Field Hockey Coach of the Year

Coach Kyoungho Koh was named the 2009 NECC Field Hockey Coach of the Year. She led the Wildcats to a 7-1 overall record and second place finish in the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) championship. This was the Wildcats' first-ever trip to the title match.

Four Wheelock players were named to the All-NECC First Team including forward Milbrey Hendrix '11 (Kennett Square, Penn.); midfielders Chelsey Ballard '13 (Mansfield, Mass.) and Julie Kilcoyne '11 (Sterling, MA); and defender Michaela Ross '11 (Mansfield, Mass.).

Goalkeeper Meredith Race '11 (Marion, Mass.) received an honorable mention.

Additionally, men's soccer was honored with the 2009 NECC Team Sportsmanship Award in their inaugural season.

Goalkeeper Victor Kashouh '12 (Providence, RI) received an All-Conference honorable mention for his performance this season. In his first season playing the sport, Kashouh led the conference in saves with 164 in 11 games.
