Students & Alumni -- Arts and Sciences Career Resources
CAREER OPTIONS FOR ARTS & SCIENCES MAJORS
For Wheelock students who select a program of study that includes only the arts and sciences major or a program that combines the arts and sciences major with a professional concentration (e.g. child life, early childhood education, or elementary education), a variety of career options are available. Of significance is that the arts and sciences curriculum or degree provides valuable pre-professional training. Many students then pursue Master's degrees in a specialized field.
For each arts and sciences major offered at Wheelock, we have provided a brief overview ofcareer options and web links that provide additional information. The Federal Bureau of Labor Statistics web site at http://www.bls.gov is a valuable resource.
