Meet the Coaches
Matt Tighe, Coach

A recent graduate of Brandeis University, second year Head Swimming and Diving coach Matt Tighe was a four year varsity swimmer while in college. While a swimmer at Brandeis, Matt recorded several top-12 finishes at the New England Swimming and Diving Championships, including a 8th place finish in the 50 backstroke his senior year. Matt comes to Wheelock College with prior experience teaching swimming at the youth level and a vast understanding and knowledge of the sport having competed in it since age seven at the Age Group level. Matt and his team had a very successful 2006-2007 season and Matt is very optimistic about the 2007-2008 season. The team looks to be competitive in every meet this season and hopefully record even more success at both the GNAC Championships as well as the New England Swimming & Diving Championships in February.
