Welcome to Wheelock Magazine on the Web! Here you will find the latest news on how Wheelock students, faculty, and alumni are helping to "Inspire a World of Good."
In the Fall 2012 edition, read about how Alicia Carroll '96MS was inspired by a 15th-century giraffe to write a children's book that has developed into a much-lauded, multidisciplinary, and global school curriculum. The edition also contains photos from the Evening at the Isabella Stuart Gardner Museum, part of the yearlong series of events celebrating Wheelock's 125th anniversary, as well as profiles of the new executive director of Wheelock College-Singapore and the College's new vice president of academic affairs, a story about how Wheelock's new ONCAMPUS partnership is bringing more students from around the world to campus, an update on the construction of the new Center for Learning and Innovation, and details about this year's Elizabeth Palmer Peabody Award recipient.
The Fall magazine also highlights the many benefits of Wheelock's new Master of Social Work program in Worcester, which began classes in September with 18 students enrolled. Also included is an article about the first winners of the Sylvia Earl Innovation Award, which is designed to stimulate innovative thinking and the creation of new projects having a measurable impact on Wheelock's teaching and learning. You can also read about how you can be part of Wheelock's upcoming service learning trip to Safe Passage in Guatemala.
Wheelock Magazine also includes profiles of alumni who are making a difference, articles about Wheelock's award-winning faculty members, and updates about your former classmates in the Class Notes section.
