Welcome to Wheelock Magazine on the Web! Here you will find the latest news on how Wheelock students, faculty, and alumni are helping to "Inspire a World of Good."
For the Summer 2015 edition, we highlight Wheelock's international impact. Central to Wheelock's internationalization strategy are our partnerships with 15+ countries, which include: overseas academic degree and professional development programs; International Visiting Scholar exchanges; and sites for international service learning trips, travel learning courses, and study abroad. Our partnership philosophy is grounded in building capacity in areas and in concert with needs identified in collaboration with the partners with whom we work.
The magazine also includes a feature on President Jackie Jenkins-Scott's decision to conclude her presidency in 2016. This month's Student Spotlights include "Seeing Past the Obstacles," featuring first-year student Meaghan Roper who is visually impaired but sees only possibilities. Other magazine highlights include a story about alum Eleni Geroulanou, who founded the nonprofit Library4all to bring a steady supply of books to children in financially struggling Greek Public Schools.
The Magazine also shines a Spotlight on other students, faculty, and alumni who are making a difference, as well as updates about your former classmates in the Class Notes section.
