Reunion 2012 will be full of fun and informative events for alumni and their families. The weekend includes social time for classes, an update from President Jackie Jenkins-Scott, and talks by members of the faculty and staff on a diverse range of topics.

FRIDAY, JUNE 1, 2012

10:30 am - 6:30 pm	Registration ~ First floor of the new Campus Center
11 am - 12 pm	Planned Giving Workshop ~ Complimentary Gain a basic understanding of charitable giving opportunities by hearing about the savvy giving strategies of notable women like Hillary Clinton, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Dorothy Parker, and others.
12 - 1:30 pm	Welcome Back Luncheon ~ $15 The Reunion 2012 kickoff event. Join members of the Wheelock College administration and students for a luncheon to catch up on everything new at Wheelock.
1 - 4 pm	Wheelock Information Tables in the Campus Center Hear about what is new at Wheelock and how you can get involved from Admissions, the Aspire Institute, Continuing Education, and the Center for Career and Professional Development.
1 - 3 pm	Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum Tour ~ $25 – Space is limited. (Round-trip transportation included. The trolley will leave Wheelock promptly at 1:00 p.m. and return to campus after the 1:30 p.m. tour.) The Collection Highlights Tour includes an introduction to the Museum’s newly constructed wing and a discussion of highlights from Gardner’s collection.
1:30 - 2:30 pm	Bullying and Cyber-bullying Workshop ~ Complimentary Join Associate Professor Petra Hesse for a discussion about the incidence, causes, effects, and prevention of bullying and cyber-bullying.
2:30 - 3 pm	Tour of Campus Center and Student Residence ~ Complimentary
3 - 4 pm	Tour of Residence Halls ~ Complimentary This is your opportunity to take a stroll down memory lane and revisit your former residence hall.
3:30 - 7 pm	Trolley Looping between Boston and Brookline Campuses
3:30 - 4 pm	Tour of Brookline Campus ~ Complimentary
4 - 5:15 pm	President’s Reception ~ Complimentary Join President Jackie Jenkins-Scott for a reception at our Brookline Campus.
5:15 - 6:45 pm	Celebration Dinner ~ $25 Join your friends for dinner in the Ladd Room of the Brookline Campus.
7:30 - 9:30 pm	Movie Night ~ Complimentary Settle in and watch a family-friendly movie with fellow alumni. Popcorn and beverages will be provided.
7:30 - 9:30 pm	Cabaret ~ $25 Wheelock Family Theatre (WFT) invites you to an evening of cabaret, featuring WFT’s favorite performers. This is a special Reunion Weekend performance.
9:30 - 11 pm	Festivities Under the Wheelock Stars Not ready to go to bed? Join your classmates for dessert, music, dancing, and conversation before retiring to your room.

 

SATURDAY, JUNE 2, 2012

 

7 am - 12 pm	Registration ~ First floor of the new Campus Center
7 - 9 am	Breakfast ~ Free to those staying in the dorms. $5 for everyone else. Feel like a student again by heading to the cafeteria for breakfast.
9 - 10 am	Reunion Workshop ~ Complimentary
10:15 am	Alumni Procession Meet on the Campus Center green for our traditional parade down the Riverway with each class adorned in their Wheelock pride.
10:45 am	State of the College Address and Alumni Awards Presentation The president of the Wheelock College Alumni Association welcomes President Jackie Jenkins-Scott for the annual State of the College address before the Annual Alumni Luncheon.
12 pm	Annual Alumni Luncheon ~ Complimentary for Classes of 1932, 1937, 1942-’43, 1947, 1952, 1957, 1962, and 2007. $10 for Class of 2002. $25 for all other classes and guests.
1:45 - 3:45 pm	Walking Tour of Fenway Park ~ $20 – Space is limited. (Round-trip transportation included. The trolley will leave Wheelock promptly at 1:45 p.m. and return after the 2:30 p.m. tour.) Visit the most beloved ballpark in America as it celebrates its 100th birthday. This is where the Babe pitched, the Kid hit, Yaz dazzled, and today’s stars like Pedroia, Youk, and Big Papi continue to thrill Red Sox Nation.
3 pm	Boston Duck Tour ~ $30 – Space is limited. (The tour will be departing from and returning to the Boston campus.) See Boston by land and water! The fun will begin as soon as you board your “duck,” an authentic renovated World War II amphibious landing vehicle.
6 pm	Reunion Class Dinners ~ Prices vary by class. (See letter at the front of the booklet for specific information for your class.)
6 - 8 pm	Young Alumni Reception ~ $10 All alumni from the Classes of 1997 to 2012 are invited to join us for a young alumni reception at Game On near Fenway Park! $10 per person includes heavy appetizers, cash bar, and a Wheelock gift.
8 pm	Movie Night ~ Complimentary Did you have a busy day? Relax and watch a family-friendly movie. Popcorn and beverages will be provided.

 

SUNDAY, JUNE 3, 2012

 

8 - 11 am	Farewell Brunch ~ $15 Catch up with your friends one more time at a buffet brunch in the Campus Center and Student Residence.
8 am - 12 pm	Checkout We hope you had fun! All dorms and the Campus Center will close for the weekend at 1:00 p.m.
