Early this fall, Kim Lawther Jackson wrote: "With the passing of Connecticut's state budget (finally!), the statewide network of Family Resource Centers can reopen and resume providing developmentally appropriate opportunities for parents to stimulate their children's healthy EC development. I also received a promotion and am now the facilitator of family resources for the district. It's an exciting step in tough economic times that shows New Britain's continued commitment to supporting families in their pursuit of lifelong education and parents' efforts to best support their students' academic success." Karin Olson Schiller '91/'95MS wrote in about her summer get-together on the shores of Lake Ossipee (New Hampshire) with Susan Blake Arsenault '91, Donna Beaman Cebula '91, Debbie Beaman Wood '91, and Becci Milke Barnett '92.

Amy Reid Fratto wrote of the Jan. 23 birth of Eva Rose and Thomas. They were welcomed home by big brother Michael. Michelle Ruxton Taylor and husband Shaun welcomed their second daughter, Carly Rose, on Feb. 27. "She is a complete joy and such a happy baby!" Michelle wrote in September. "Haley is a proud big sister and is very protective of her. They are truly in love with one another, and no one can make Carly laugh like her big sis can!" Michelle also shared that she started a new job as head of school at Blue Hill Montessori in Canton, MA, so she can be closer to home and spend more time with her family.

After a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception in New Hampshire, Heather Fournier Bower now lives in Whitinsville, MA, with her husband, Scott.
Laurie Fraga Corbett '02/'04MS wrote of her wonderful wedding this past July. She married Joseph Corbett in Middlebury, VT, and a number of Wheelock friends were in attendance: Jill Marble Jones '99, Amy Edwards Butcher '00, Kristyn Robichaud '01, Suzanne Lewis '02, Beth Costanza O'Connor '02/'02MS, and Renee Ruggiero (Wheelock staff).
Kristin Wedding '03/'04MS and Dave Greeson were married on June 6 in a private ceremony in Charleston, SC, and then celebrated their union with family in August in Rhode Island. She wrote, "Almost two years ago, I took a job as the local coordinator for a national nonprofit called Safe Kids, whose mission it is to eliminate unintentional injuries to children 14 and under. This has allowed me to utilize my child life skills in ways I was not able to previously."
Kendra Dome Frederick '05/'07MS and her husband welcomed their son, Keiran, into the world on Sept. 5.
