Early this fall, Kim Lawther Jackson wrote: "With the passing of Connecticut's state budget (finally!), the statewide network of Family Resource Centers can reopen and resume providing developmentally appropriate opportunities for parents to stimulate their children's healthy EC development. I also received a promotion and am now the facilitator of family resources for the district. It's an exciting step in tough economic times that shows New Britain's continued commitment to supporting families in their pursuit of lifelong education and parents' efforts to best support their students' academic success." Karin Olson Schiller '91/'95MS wrote in about her summer get-together on the shores of Lake Ossipee (New Hampshire) with Susan Blake Arsenault '91, Donna Beaman Cebula '91, Debbie Beaman Wood '91, and Becci Milke Barnett '92.
