Public Policy Event Regarding Full-day Kindergarten in Massachusetts
Recent legislation and funding have encouraged cities and towns in Massachusetts to offer a full-day kindergarten program. Join Wheelock Alumni to hear about these efforts. A panel discussion will feature the perspectives of an advocate, an administrator, and a policy-maker. This event is hosted by Mila Moschella ’75.

Incorporating Innovative Technology into the Classroom - POSTPONED
The Continuing Education Committee of the Alumni Association Board is sponsoring this interactive workshop incorporating Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and Geocaching into classroom curriculum. Geocaching is an outdoor treasure-hunting game in which the participants use a Global Positioning System receiver or other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers (called "geocaches" or "caches") anywhere in the world. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geocaching. Jan Fraga, M.Ed., Director of Information Technology for Addison Northeast Supervisory Union in Brandon, VT, will be leading this workshop. Space is limited; R.S.V.P. as soon as possible.
