Alumni Service Learning Opportunities

While Wheelock College continues to provide our students with invaluable educational experiences in the classroom, and in practicum placements in the community, our current students are also encouraged to live the words of our founder Lucy Wheelock; “not only to know, but to do, and to feel the joy of service to humanity.”  These cross-cultural initiatives are designed to promote global understanding and literacy, and an international educational experience among faculty, learners, alumni and administrators in the greater Wheelock College community.

We invite all Wheelock Alumni to join us on these trips and welcome their participation in these fascinating life long learning opportunities. Past international and national trips to Reggio Emilia, Italy, Belfast, Northern Ireland, Guatemala, Singapore, Ghana/Benin and New Orleans, LA have been phenomenal.  Students have returned from the trips inspired and excited about the integration of learning and service.
