This is a collaborative two-day program between the Offices of Student Success and Student Life that provides incoming first year students with a comprehensive academic and social experience that will help you prepare for your college career.

New Student Orientation
September 2017 (Date TBA)
The New Student Orientation program begins with the check-in/move-in process. Activities, workshops, and programs then take place throughout the weekend leading up to Fall classes. All new students are required to attend all New Student Orientation & Transfer Orientation events.
To apply for need-based financial aid, first-year students should complete the Free Application for Federal Aid (FAFSA) by the priority filing date of February 15, 2016 or as soon as possible after that date (transfer students have until June 1, 2016). Financial Aid packages will be mailed out starting in mid March.
We believe that the best way for you to get to know Wheelock is to visit our campus. We offer full Information Sessions, which include a campus tour, throughout the Fall and Winter. Campus Visits may also be scheduled Monday - Friday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. throughout the year.
Visit the Admissions Events page to see all events and to register.
Deferring Your Admission
Students who have applied and been accepted can request to defer their admission to Wheelock College for up to one academic year. Deferring requires a commitment to enroll and is not for students who are still deciding on where to attend. To request a deferral, please pay your enrollment deposit (see above) and then complete the Deferral Request Form.
If approved, you will receive a confirmation email. If you are interested in taking coursework at another college or university while on deferral, you must get pre-approval from a Wheelock academic advisor. US Citizens and Permanent Residents deferring to the fall semester will have to submit a new FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid); students deferring to the spring semester of the same academic year will not need to reapply for financial aid.
