Wheelock College's graduate programs are offered throughout the year, but many of them have specific start dates. Likewise our off-campus programs may start at times that do not coincide with our Boston campus semesters. If you have questions about program start dates, our faculty and admissions staff are ready to help you find an entry date that works best for you.

Priority Application Deadlines

Our priority application deadlines are guidelines designed to help students meet all admissions requirements-including the need to secure academic and field experience advising-prior to the start of their academic program. For most of our graduate programs, we will consider applications past the deadline as long as we are able.

Please note: The Child Life and Family Centered Care and MSW Advanced Standing programs WILL NOT consider applications submitted after March 1, regardless of the semester you plan to begin your program.

International students are encouraged to apply at least one month prior to the priority deadlines listed below. It is common for the processing and gathering of materials to take longer for international students and we want to ensure that any and all applicants have the best chance of being considered for their desired term.

* This date is a guideline. Applications WILL BE considered after this deadline as long as we are able, EXCEPT for the Child Life Program which WILL NOT accept applications after March 1.
** This is a firm deadline. Applications WILL NOT be considered after this date.

Applicant Notification

The Admissions Committee makes every attempt to notify applicants of a decision within four to six weeks of receipt of a complete application.
