Priority Application Deadlines

Most programs of graduate study at Wheelock College allow students to matriculate in any of our three terms (fall, spring, summer). However, some programs begin in specified semesters (e.g., Child Life is a fall only program). Likewise our regional and national programs may start at times that do not coincide with our Boston campus terms. For more information on start dates, please consult the Office of Graduate Admissions and the application for admission.

Our graduate programs adhere to the following priority deadlines for application. In general, our application deadlines are guidelines that students should use to complete their application. In setting these priority deadlines the College has taken into consideration the need for applicants to secure academic and field experience advising prior to the start of their academic program. However, we will consider applications past the deadline as long as we are able. Please Note: The Child Life and Family Centered Care Program will NOT consider applications submitted or completed after April 1st.

Summer Semester ( June): March 1
Fall Semester (September): May 1
Spring Semester ( January): October 1
Child Life Program: April 1 (firm)

The Admissions Committee makes every attempt to notify applicants of a decision within four to six weeks of receipt of a complete application.

International students are encouraged to apply at least one month prior to the priority deadlines listed above. It is common for the processing and gathering of materials to take longer for international students and we want to ensure that any and all applicants have the best chance of being considered for their desired term.
