City Year Graduate Scholarships
Wheelock College is proud to partner with City Year to offer "give a year" scholarships to selected Wheelock graduate students who spend a year serving as City Year corps members. City Year unites young people of all backgrounds to serve as tutors, mentors, and role models for children across the U.S. This partnership will help bring idealistic and committed students with a high level of maturity, insight, and experience to Wheelock.
Up to five "give a year" scholarships will be awarded annually to students enrolled in a Wheelock master's degree program. Applicants must be current City Year corps members; alumni who have successfully completed at least one year of service to City Year; or City Year staff members employed for at least two years. Students must remain in good academic and social standing while attending Wheelock.
Scholarships will total 25 percent of annual tuition. Applicants may be considered for additional merit scholarships depending on the strength of their application. All applicants will have their graduate application fees waived.
