Wheelock gives you tremendous flexibility in shaping your undergraduate studies by mixing and matching majors, minors, and other educational opportunities. Working closely with an advisor, you might decide to combine a professional major in Juvenile Justice and Youth Advocacy with a minor in Sport-Based Youth Development or a professional major in Social Work with a minor in Theater. The choice is up to you.

Arts & Sciences Minors

All undergraduates who major in the Arts and Sciences or Social Work are encouraged to pursue additional, focused study of the arts and sciences by fulfilling the requirements for a minor in a field outside their major. Students design their minors (16 credits) in consultation with a faculty member in the discipline. Only one course in the minor may be counted toward another degree requirement.

Wheelock offers the following arts and sciences minors, many of which can be fulfilled by taking any four courses in that area. Click on a minor for a program overview and a course list:

American Studies Life Science Psychology and Human Development
