The 16-credit Mathematics Minor is intended for students concentrating in education who desire a strong preparation in mathematics, but do not wish to major in the subject. Students are strongly encouraged to take these four designated courses as a minor. However, in some cases, in consultation with an advisor, substitute courses may be approved.
