General Education
Throughout Wheelock's learning community, the mission of improving the lives of children and families involves a commitment to intellectual and creative inquiry into ways of understanding, interpreting, and representing the complex world in which we live. Through a rich mix of quantitative, qualitative, and creative methods, you will come to understand the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional dimensions of human development. You will explore the diversity and creativity of human cultures, as well as new ways of interpreting human ways of living. And you will gain an appreciation of the physical and biological beauty of the universe. These liberal learning goals infuse each course in the General Education curriculum.
