Master of Social Work Program Overviews
At Wheelock, you can complete our Master of Social Work degree program on a part-time or full-time basis. In addition, we offer several different full-time and part-time programs tailored to meet students' experience and education goals.

MSW PROGRAM PLANS
Full-Time MSW Program: For students intending to complete the MSW degree in two academic years.
Three-Year Part-Time MSW Program: For students needing a part-time plan for the Foundation content in the first two years, finishing the Concentration Year requirements in one full-time year (three years total).
Three-year Part-Time MSW Program with the MSW Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership: For students who plan to complete the MSW degree in three years, including their Focus of Study as the MSW Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership.
Four-year Part-Time MSW Program Plan: For students who plan to complete the degree in a part-time, four-year format, with internships in their second and third years.
ADVANCED STANDING PROGRAM PLANS
Full-time Advance Standing Student: This program plan is for student who are accepted as Advanced Standing MSW students, and plan to complete their degree as a full-time student.
Part-time Advanced Standing Student: This program plan is for students who are accepted as Advanced Standing MSW students, and who choose to complete their degree in 2+ years.
