Shoshannah Starr Collins (Shoshy) spent 13 years in the elementary classroom in both special and regular education settings. She has been at Wheelock as an adjunct for six years.  She is also an educational consultant focusing on math, literacy, and special education.

She has taught Understanding Reading Difficulties, Elementary Math, Math for Diverse Learners, Curriculum Development, and Practicum Seminar.  She enjoys learning and teaching about how students come to understand, what circumstances need to be in place for this to happen, what supports they need, and what can get in the way of developing an understanding.
