Introduction to Early Childhood Education Settings

Overview:
Historical, legal, theoretical foundations of care and education for young children and their families. Application of principles to educational models. Curriculum design and assessment, strategies for developmentally appropriate learning opportunities for all young children, including those with special needs and those from diverse cultural, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds. Course requirements include 25 hours of pre-practicum field experience.

Course Credit and Tuition: $2,265 to take the course for three (3) graduate credits or $605 to take the course for non-credit/professional development points (PDPs)
