Helping Children and Families Cope with Loss and Transition

Overview:
Presents theory, research, and clinical evidence concerning the effects of loss and transition on children's coping patterns and development. Explores concepts of vulnerability and resilience and practical methods for helping children develop skills to cope with life changes including illness, divorce, death, moving, natural disasters, and school transitions.

Course Credit and Tuition: $2,265 to take the course for three (3) graduate credits or $605 to take the course for non-credit/professional development points (PDPs)
