Multilingual Action Council Partners
Learn More about MAC
We are able to do what we do at the Multilingual Action Council largely due to the support of our funders and partners:
ABCD Head Start
ABCD Head Start and Children's Services is a comprehensive family development program that serves pregnant women, children from birth to age five, and their families. Our child-focused programs are committed to providing opportunities and services to the diverse, low-income children and families of Boston.
Allston-Brighton APAC
The Allston & Brighton APAC was created in 1968, as a part to the national War on Poverty. The Allston & Brighton APAC mission is to combat poverty by promoting self-help for low-income people and neighborhoods.
Boston Public Schools
As the birthplace of public education in this nation, the Boston Public Schools is committed to transforming the lives of all children through exemplary teaching in a world-class system of innovative, welcoming schools. We partner with the community, families, and students to develop in every learner the knowledge, skill, and character to excel in college, career, and life.
Read Boston
ReadBoston is a nonprofit children's literacy program founded by Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino. Our mission is to ensure that all children can read at grade level by the end of the third grade. We work with childcare and early education centers, Boston Public Schools, after-school programs and many nonprofits and community-based organizations, to create sustainable literacy programs and practices.
Sovereign Bank
Through both financial commitment and team member participation, we are dedicated to serving the needs of the communities in which we live and work.
UNO Chicago Grill
Uno Chicago Grill offers a complete casual dining menu, including seafood, burgers and steaks, pasta dishes, appetizers and desserts, as well as its signature Chicago Original Deep Dish PizzaTM and all-natural crust flatbread pizzas.
Wheelock Family Theater
We are devoted to the ideal of complete access and reject the notion that the arts should be available only to audiences of privilege. Our play selection, casting policy, affordable ticket prices, education programs, and access provisions for people with disabilities reflect an unwavering commitment to inclusive, community-based theatre.
YMCA
YMCA is committed to helping children, families and individuals live longer, healthier lives through affordable and accessible programs and activities. We are leading provider of youth and teen services with a facility that features a full multi-media lab with recording equipment and a full size outdoor soccer field. We are proud to be part of the YMCA of Greater Boston, the largest provider of social services in the Commonwealth.
