Will Twombly shared a chapter from the book Connecting Kids to History with Museum Exhibitions. This chapter, authored by Judy Rand and titled "Write and Design with the Family in Mind," is a great resource for educators. It offers design features for exhibits with significant text and content. We had a wonderful turn out for our first Open Studio where educators were invited to look at work in progress, both as an opportunity to learn from the work as well as contribute to its development.  Share your reflections about the evening below.

A preview of Documentation: Transforming Our Perspective (a film by Melissa Rivard and Stephanie Cox Suarez based on interviews with scholars from Reggio Emilia)
Small groups (3 presenters sharing documentation from their classrooms):

A whole group discussion of a new visual essay by Melissa Rivard based on an extended project in Nicole Zagami-Chasse's (Kindergarten teacher at the Edward Devotion School in Brookline) classroom.
