Needs of Military-Connected School Divisions in South-Eastern Virginia
Summary:
This study was conducted with the Center for Naval Analysis (CNA) regarding needs in military-connected schools from the perspectives of teachers, principals, counselors, school psychologists, and district student information systems and academic officers.  The study included four school districts, with one 100-percent military-connected school and one 30- to 50-percent military-connected school in each district, and all service branches represented.  Through this, we identified major dimensions of school responsiveness to the unique educational needs presented by children of military families. Download the study (pdf)
