The Center for Assessment and Screening Excellence (CASE) provides statewide training and technical assistance in early childhood assessment, screening, and program measurement aligned with the MA Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS) to early childhood and out-of-school time professionals. CASE will also serve in policy advisory capacity to the state concerning effective use of and training in child screening and assessment.

Our Purpose 

• To provide high-quality, credit-bearing training that strengthens screening and assessment knowledge and practice
• To support appropriate and effective program-level implementation of assessments and screening
• To advance consistent systems of assessment and outcomes measurement, reporting, and planning
• To improve evaluation of programs and resources
