Wheelock College is home to several centers and institutes, each with a focused function to contribute to the education of people around the globe and to strengthen the social fabric in the U.S. and abroad.

Aspire Institute - Founded in 2007, Aspire develops, manages, and hosts several of Wheelock's college-community initiatives. Its mission is to advance knowledge and innovative solutions in response to social and education challenges.

Center for International Education, Leadership, and Innovation - Wheelock College's Center for International Education, Leadership, and Innovation was established in 1992 to develop and deliver globally a range of academic degree programs, innovative seminars, and professional development programs. The Center coordinates all of Wheelock College's global endeavors.

Center of Excellence for Military Children and Families - This center was established in 2011 by Wheelock College in collaboration with the Massachusetts National Guard and the Military Child Education Coalition^® to draw attention to the many services available to aid military children and families, maximizing the visibility of military support systems and offering the resources of the Wheelock community to military families.

The National Center for Race Amity - Founded in 2010, this center has three primary initiatives, expansion of the Campus Conversations on Race model in a national network of colleges; development of theater-based race amity education programs targeting middle school students; and research and development of "The Human Being Curriculum®" for national and international dissemination.

Policy Connection - Policy Connection is Wheelock's link between the government and our students, administrators, and faculty. Be it from Beacon Hill or Capitol Hill, Policy Connection keeps you informed of the legislation and policies that matter to the higher education community.
