Learning to Make a Difference
Wheelock delivers a broad array of undergraduate and graduate programs, all designed to enhance your academic credentials and boost your ability to make an impact. These programs are offered through three schools: the School of Social Work, Leadership, and Youth Advocacy; the School of Education, Child Life and Family Studies, and the School of Arts and Sciences.
Our undergraduate degree programs provide you with a strong foundation in the arts and sciences and an outstanding professional preparation in the fields of education, child life, and social work. Our undergraduate minors, such as Understanding Autism, pair with our majors to provide you with a wider range of job opportunities and career paths. Through our dual degree programs, you can earn a bachelor's and a master's degree in as little as five years in fields like Child Life and Early Childhood Education. We also offer undergraduate pathways to law school and other in-demand graduate programs.
At the graduate level, we offer highly regarded, focused Degree Programs in the areas of education, child life, nonprofit leadership, social work, and parenting education. Our innovative Graduate Certificate Programs can be combined with one of our degree programs or taken alone to provide you with specific skills that can improve your effectiveness and advance your career.

A hallmark of a Wheelock education is our ability to provide students with real-world experiences for many of the semesters they are here. This integration of classroom theory and scholarship with real-world experience enables our students to graduate with a strong degree and a strong resume, making them highly regarded and sought after in the job market. This accounts for why so many of our students are offered good paying jobs even before graduation.
