Anne Marie Martorana has served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2006.  In this role, Ms. Martorana directs all functional activities and policies related to finance, investments, human resources and legal and insurance matters.  Her finance responsibilities include oversight of the College's operating budget, optimizing financial resources available to instructional programs, co-curricular activities and campus operations. 

She is also the senior officer responsible for the administration of the College's financial aid programs, which assist eligible students in financing their education through a combination of federal and institutional grants, scholarships and loans.  In accordance with trustee policies, she directs the administration of the College's endowment investments, the earnings from which contribute in part to Wheelock's scholarship programs.

Previously, Anne Marie served as Wheelock's Associate Vice President for Finance from 2000-2006 and its Controller and Director of Financial Services from 1998-2000.  Prior to joining Wheelock, she held corporate financial management positions for software and service companies focusing on the areas of accounting, financial management, treasury and tax. Earlier, she worked at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG), an international accounting firm, auditing clients in a variety of industries including financial services, manufacturing and not-for-profit.

Anne Marie is a member of the Colleges of the Fenway Chief Financial Officers' Committee and serves on Wheelock's Judicial Review Board.  She is also Treasurer of the Academy of the Pacific Rim Charter Public School in Boston. She earned her accountancy degree at Bentley College and is a CPA.
