Meet the Wheelock Marketing Team
Director of Marketing
Stephen Dill manages all marketing and (non-PR) communications for Wheelock College. He is responsible for Wheelock's branding, all digital marketing, advertising, and traditional collateral in support of undergraduate and graduate admissions. He joined Wheelock in 2011 with more than 20 years of marketing experience.
The first vice president of interactive marketing at State Street Corp, he left to create SRD InterActive offering marketing and social media consulting. Experience as director of consulting for a Web startup, CEO of an online exchange for electronic parts, and a partner in a sales outsourcing company have rounded out his technical, communications, and management skills.
Web Marketing and Content Manager
Marie Gendron manages content for the Wheelock website and works with departments across the College to develop and update printed materials. She joined Wheelock in 2011 after a career as a writer and editor for variety of print and online publications, including The Boston Herald, Herald Interactive, the Boston Business Journal, and CFO Magazine. She was also a longtime content contributor to The Bridgespan Group, which specializes in improving management practices at nonprofit organizations, and has taught courses in online journalism at Bentley College.
Marketing Project Manager
Jake W-M manages a variety of projects as part of the marketing team at Wheelock College. He supports campus social media use, digital signage system, and registration and recruitment for the International Conference. He began working for Wheelock in the Fall of 2012, shortly after moving to Boston from Brooklyn, NY. He worked previously as communications manager at Hazon, a Jewish environmental nonprofit, as product manager at an independent record label, and was on the programming staff with Hillel at the University of Arizona and the University of Connecticut.
