Meet the Wheelock Marketing Team
Stephen Dill manages all marketing and (non-PR) communications for Wheelock College. He is responsible for Wheelock's branding, all digital marketing, advertising, campus signage, and traditional collateral in support of undergraduate and graduate admissions, as well as all academic departments. Stephen is implementing a content marketing strategy that will transform how students and influencers find Wheelock. He joined Wheelock in 2011 with more than 20 years of marketing experience.
The first vice president of interactive marketing at State Street Corp, he left to create SRD InterActive, offering marketing and social media consulting. Experience as director of consulting for a Web startup, CEO of an online exchange for electronic parts, and a partner in a sales outsourcing company have rounded out his technical, communications, and management skills.
Web Marketing and Content Manager
Marie Gendron manages content for the Wheelock website, works with departments across the College to develop and update printed materials, and creates some of the most important and impactful emails Wheelock sends out in support of admissions, the President, and academic departments. She joined Wheelock in 2011 after a career as a writer and editor for variety of print and online publications, including The Boston Herald, Herald Interactive, the Boston Business Journal, and CFO Magazine. She was also a longtime content contributor to The Bridgespan Group, which specializes in improving management practices at nonprofit organizations, and has taught courses in online journalism at Bentley College.
George is a cinematographer, director, editor, sound engineer, record producer, musician, helicopter pilot, and boat captain, who has been in the media production industry for nearly 20 years. George captures all of the video used to create over 80 videos a year and works with his editor to tell the story of Wheelock, its people, and its impact. While working in live music production, he worked with many notable acts such as Britney Spears, Live, Wu Tang Clan, Merl Saunders, Vertical Horizon, Buckwheat Zydeco, Widespread Panic and Smokey Robinson. As a musician, he toured the country for two years and played in 43 American states. He began his career in film, shooting and editing snowboard footage, in Vail Colorado in 2002. Upon arriving in Boston in 2004, he transitioned to producing records and filming music and small business promotional content, and founded Stearns Media Productions and Boathouse Recording. He has a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Miami University, and continues to work toward degrees in Film Scoring and Professional Music at The Berklee College of Music.
