Wireless Network Access

 
Wheelock-Students
This is the high-speed network exclusively for student use. Guides for connecting various devices to this network can be found on the following pages:

Wheelock-FacStaff
This is the high-speed network exclusively for Faculty and Staff use. Guides for connecting various devices to this network can be found on the following pages:

Wheelock-Guest
This network has its speed capped at 256kbps and requires you to open an internet browser to use it. You will be directed to a webpage to enter your email address in order to access the network each time you connect.

Wheelock-Devices
This network is for devices such as TVs, Blu-Ray players, and game consoles that cannot connect to the Wheelock-Students network. To connect these devices to the network, you need to register with the make, model and MAC address of the device using the device registration form.

Wired Access

Helpdesk supports all network and data ports on campus including, but not limited to, those in classrooms, offices, meeting spaces, and residence halls. The IT department is responsible for maintaining at least one physical network jack in each room. Should you discover that there are no functional ports, please email details of the location with the problem to helpdesk@wheelock.edu so that it can be addressed.
